Dental Veneers at Show Me Smiles
 

Veneers are a very popular treatment option for a variety of reasons.  They are one of the most conservative restorations that can be done.  This means that the amount of tooth structure that Dr. Reese must remove in order to do a veneer is very small.  Generally, only 0.3 to 0.7 mm needs to be removed from the surface of your tooth.

 

The veneer is made and bonded to the tooth, incorporating the desired changes in shape and color.  Since the veneer is so thin and there is no metal in it, the esthetic potential is very high.  Veneers can be made of two different materials, either composite or porcelain.

Show Me Smiles  Jay B. Reese, DDS, PC is a practice of General Dentistry.  This provider is not a specialist in Orthodontics (braces), Endodontics (root canals), Periodontics (gum therapy or surgery), Oral Surgery (extractions), or Prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, full or partial dentures).  Bleaching, cosmetic dentistry, implantology, implant dentistry, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) therapy are non-specialty interest areas that require no specific educational training to advertise these services.  Conscious sedation is taught as a part of post-graduate residency programs approved by the American Dental Association.  Dr. Reese has not completed an American Dental Association approved residency program in which conscious sedation is taught.
